Heather A. Parker
Heather completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Buffalo and then attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she obtained her Jurist Doctorate in 1996. From 1996 through 1997, Heather worked for the Rape Crisis Center of the Southern Tier where she became a certified rape crisis counselor. Having been raised in Southern Tier, Heather remained in her hometown area and from 1997 through 1999 working at the Southern Tier Legal Services/Americorp where she represented victims of domestic violence and appeared in Family Court on custody, visitation and orders of protection.
In 1999 Heather worked for the Steuben County Attorney's Office where she prosecuted juvenile delinquency and PINS cases. She also handled CPS issues involving abuse and neglect and child support cases. In June of 2001, she left that office and took a position with the Monroe County District Attorney's Office where she prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor DWI cases and other vehicle and traffic related offenses pending in the town and village courts. She was then promoted to the Felony DWI Bureau where she was responsible for prosecuting the most serious DWI and driving related cases, often including serious injury or death.
In 2005, she left the Monroe County District Attorney's Office and took a position with Fiandach & Fiandach, where she has earned herself the role of one of Mr. Fiandach's top trial attorneys.
